02 F350 7.3 4X4 CREWCAB. only comes on when towing camper. been to dealer 3 times cant fix. KOEO test shows p1211 . only other thing is oil aeration test gets to1350 psi they say slightly high. motorcraft diesel oil with 1200 miles on it they want me to service it. oil still looks almost new. aapparantly my truck had a chip at one time annd now theyre saying that messed up the pcm from plugging and unplugging it. i bought this truck from a ford dealer with the full factory warranty and now im being told the warranty on my drivetrain will be void because the previous owner had a chip. shouldnt the dealer check these things out, i feel im getting screwed,i boughht this truck thinking i had a full warrranty. ive had truck 5 months and it has 33000 on it ,3100 by me. im concerned about the 100k on engine. i just dont know what to do.
If you bought it from a Ford dealer they have to honor the warranty. They should have been up front with the information on the chip when you bought it. Here's the info for that code:

i am assuming that the light comes on for a bit then shuts off..then when the truck is pulling it comes on then shuts off again.
if so sounds like the truck may still be programmed or chipped... mine is programmend with a 1705 super chip programmer. it is all about how much boost the turbo is putting out. once i hit 25 or so the engine light comes on until the computer cycles and resets the system. my mechanic says this is normal. the system is dumping fuel it does not need.
