9 inch diff. diameter carrier bearings

Hey everyone,
Im having a little problem trying to figure some things out. I am getting the detroit locker for my 79 ranchero that summit makes, and im putting 3.50 gears in it. And the installation kit to put the gears in has 2 different diameter carrier bearings, and im not sure which one the 9 inch on the ranchero had. The first option is 2.8910 in. and the second is 3.0625 in. Does anyone know which one i would need? Also, when i went to the suggested parts for the locker, and it gave me another installation kit. It says its for installing or overhauling a 9 inch, and im not sure about it. Thanks!
Danny

I think the smaller bearings are for a 28 spline, which is most likely under your Ranchero.
