My 900 has the hazard switch, but the diagram that came with it doesn't go into any details about it. It must be internal in the switch. Do you need to know which wires to connect to the original harness?
I only know I hooked mine up according to the schematic and the hazards work.
My Signal-Stat 900 SignalFlare has 11 wires coming out of it. I have a diagram but it only has 7 wires shown. The diagram works for the 7 of the 11 wires. I just need to know what the other 4 do. At first I though it might be for the hazard but that should have been done internally. When I got the truck it was just sitting on the seat with a foot of wiring and missing part of the mounting bracket. Is it possible to make a mounting bracket?
I think I might have figured it out:
Red = RF parklight
Green = LF parklight
Grey = LR taillight
Black = RR taillight
Yellow = flasher
Blue = flasher to light in switch?
Black w/Grey stripe = Stop light switch
Red w/Green stripe = Headlight switch dim to front parklights
White = Headlight switch to rear taillights
White w/Green stripe = LR taillight
White w/Red stripe = RR taillight
If this is correct then I can run stock single filament Ford parklights and taillights. When the turn signal is activated it cancels the headlight switch dim but leaves the other side alone. I guess I won't have to modify the stock lights to add a double filament bulb. The switch is in good condition too.
