Skipping 460

I have a 460 that i put in a 80' F-250 and just recently it started skipping bad on take off. I put new plugs/wires but it still skipps bad when taking off but after it gets enough rpm's it smooths out. I don't mess with this engine much so im not sure were to start troubleshooting first. Any ideas
