Those are rocker arms, and they should work with either hydraulic or roller cams. However, I would make sure you have threaded in rocker studs before you use those rockers.. roller rockers with a decent lift at a fairly high rpm will make the press-in studs pull out of your head. If you're not going wild with them, I wouldn't get excited, but I'd call crane and make sure.
If the heads on your 89 are stock then they didn't have press in studs, they are pedestal mount and should work fine with the roller rockers, specific to them. Good luck
btw, what are the difference between pedestal mounts and push in studs? same thing except threaded?
*edit* nevermind, I know what the difference after thinking about it for 2seconds, sorry... I am used to 300-6s.. they still used the pushin studs in the 80s with the big cast rockers..
