Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor
I've had a fuel odor coming from the fuel tank area for some time now. Finally figured out it was the fuel tank pressure sensor mounted on the top of the fuel tank on the white cover that holds the fuel pump, etc. The darn thing broke off where it attaches to the cover. I obviously need to get to the top of the tank to replace it. I've heard pros and cons of both. Is it easier to remove the tank or move the bed back a bit so I can get to the top of the tank?

Everything I've read indicates that bed removal will be easiest. Remove the bolts securing the bed, the wiring for the lights, and the fuel filler tube/hardware as needed and have a buddy help you lift it off. I'd expect that the spare tire must be removed too.
