I prefer 4 wheel leafs myself. ANd they can keep their 17" and 18 " rims. They just limit my choices on tires, weigh more, and I really don't need the bigger brakes, as my current F250 stops good enough for me.
I sure hope that my current f250 can least as long as the old ones did, cause I wont be getting another.

I have warped 2 sets of rotors in 76,000 miles. The bigger brakes are a good thing. The bigger rims only make the tires cost alot more. Personally, I like the front leafs better also.
I've never seen awesome stock rotors save for the last 911 Turbo Porsche I saw last week. My BMW M3 came with rotors that warped within 15k miles.
I've found the only decent rotors are slotted/drilled combo rotors. If that isn't available, then slotted at the bare minimum. That along with high grade brake pads are the only way to go to keep from the warping.
There is one other way, use the downshifts to slow your vehicle to 10 mph, then use the brakes
Hopefully Tire manufacturers will get on the ball and start making more tires to fit the 18" rims because the current selection sucks.
My local dealer here has about 7 new 2004 SD's that all have the new 18" rims and tires - I guess they are OK - much taller then the 16s they are sitting next to so clearance is better-
I'm planning on ordering a new 6.0 PSD, 2005 version - not sure if I'm happy about the coil springs - might look at having a suspension place replace them with new leafs?? (hmm. wonder if that will be possible - actually, anything is possible, just depends on how much $$$ you want to spend).
Anyone have any pictures of the new grill?? What is the "nostril" style??
Tell me I'm reading the 2005 ordering guide wrong - It states the Luxury package is required when ordering the King Ranch package - this I can understand..
But below in the Luxury package - states that it's for Lariat only, then states "Requires a 17k King Ranch Package" ????? What the ....?
So now Ford is telling me that if I want the Lariat with all the luxuries I have to get the King Ranch and LOSE the 60/20/60 front bench and exterior color options!!! why oh why!!
Im so sick of seeing the same OLD pictures of these things... doesn't anyone look at the dates on the articles?
I know!! There has gotta be some new pics out. The 2005 superduty was revelied in las vegas this PAST weekend.
I'll tell you what, if I ever see a 2005 superduty parked somewhere, I will rip the bra off and take a picture. I hope you all do the same!!! We need to see some REAL pics.
P.S. You guys make think this is strange, but i actually bought one of those cheap disposable cameras, I keep it in the glove box just incase I spot a 2005 SD!!
