Question tachometer installation

I have installed a tach in my truck which has a 460 with electronic ignition. There are 7 wires coming out of the distributor. Can someone tell me which one is used for the sender? It's an auto meter tach and is supposed to be hooked up to the negative side of the coil.

If I remember correctly, green is the trigger wire on a auto meter. Red is switched 12v +, white is lights, black is ground and green is for the tach signal. hook it up to the negative side of the coil to make it work.

Question tachometer installation

Thanks, greg 250, that's one side of the coin. Coming off the coil are three wires, one single (red) top of clip, and one double, (also red) as near as I can tell, bottom of clip. Putting a meter on these, all are showing 12v. with the ignition on. Do you have an idea of what is negative? Thanks for your help.
