The MAD MAX is the only one I really liked too. I have it VHS and watch it every chance I get or when ever teh wife is not watching the manhater channel those shows gone on forever. By the way I sleep with my eyes open
I can't even tell you how many times I watched those movies. Although, I thought it was funny that people were driving supercharged V-8's in a fuel starved waste land. It also cracked me up that his supercharger belt and pulley were never turning until he hit his switch. Great movies though.
It's possible to have a switch on a supercharger, like on an air conditioner compressor. Hit the switch to turn the SC on, just like turning on your A/C. Your compressor doesn't turn either, until then.

When your A/C isn't running, it doesn't block the air intake like a rotary lobe compressor. I suppose intake air might make it through a centrifugal supercharger even if it isn't turning, but no way will air make it past the lobes on Mad Max's Weiand supercharger in "Road Warrior."
OK, your all going to think I am wierd, but I like the Lifetime Channel. I love the Golder Girls and the Nanny. Sorry.
I love all the Mad Max movies. I especially like the little helicopter with the boooooooobies and the dog that pulled on the bone to shoot the shot gun. Just good movies to watch on those rainny day on TBS.
Not correct, Spikedog. Haven't you been watching drag races before when they pop a blower belt at the starting line? The engine still runs, and pretty fast too. Just not fast enough to win the race.
