Annoying Beep
I disagree with your anecdotal evidence that just because you haven't claimed anything insurance rates as a whole have not gone up.
I think the "buckle up" and "put a helmet on when riding a motorcycle" have become second nature to me that it's not even worth it for me to discuss the benefits vs hassle to me personally and to everyone.
But you're right, not the time and place to discuss.
Coming back to the topic, what I hate are those stupid stickers on the visor that tell me about the dangers from airbags. It would be one thing if they were stickers that I could remove on my own will. As it turns out, Ford has been litigated so much that they and several other manufacturers have decided stickers are not enough and it has to be printed right on the freaking visor. In French no less...
I guess you have never felt strongly enough to stand up for something you thought was wrong, so be it. It might be a small item on the face of this earth but that is the way I feel. I have never been a sheep and I won't start now. If I sound like a 10 year old, great. You have to get older but you never have to grow up. I see no difference between myself and you, I just have the fortitude to say something is not for me. So if you are LOL you are laughing at yourself also.

When we use a one way medium like a forum or instant messenger it is always one sided and things can easly get stupid because you are the only voice of reason to guide the conversation along and people, myself included, tend to see thier side only and that is why I wrote the second email.
But I have to correct you... I said that no claims and my insurance still goes up. SO I am glad to hear that we have common ground (besides a great truck). I am with you 100% on the stickers on the visors and have tried over the years to figure out how to get them off to no avail. And every other thing in this world with obvious warning stickers. Like the NO SMOKING and turn off your engine signs at the gas station and people smoking with thier engines on
So I hope ohankeuylian found the directions in the manual he was looking for. It is little things like that that makes this forum worth the time. With enough members we can come up with a lot of fixes, okay maybe that darn vibration problem could be a problem
