I installed a Stull Grill on my 2003 F250 in August. I admit that after all the cutting it is a beautiful grill. That is until now. I now have a problem where ALL the black finish between the bars is peeling off. It looks like crap now.
I am in the process of contacting the manufacturer and the distributor (motor heaven) to see what i am entitled to for a replacement. I would think a billet grill should look nice for longer than 6 months.
If anyone else has had this problem, please post your experience. I am quite upset at the moment.
I don't know too much about Stull , but my Carriage Works grille is still looking as tight as the day I put it in, about a year ago. sorry guys I hope you get what you want ...
i contacted Stull. They told me i have to deal with the company i bought it from. Well, that was Motor Heaven. They have not returned any of my emails or calls.
At this point i will not purchase another item until this gets resolved. They are quick to talk to me to get my money, but there should be customer support there too.
You sent your email yesterday, Motorhaven gets hundreds every day and it usually takes 24 hours to reply. Motorhaven talked to you on the phone a short while ago, gave you no problems about exchanging an 8 month old product even though the warranty policy is 30 days.
Why must you trash MotorHaven this way in a variety of posts? Does not having someone face to face eliminate common courtesy these days? Jolene was pleasant and helpful with you about this, and happy to exchange it for you.
I just talked to rep from Motor Heaven and I was pleasantly pleased. She assured me the grill would be replaced and promised to contact me with a RMA number in a couple of days. Hopefully the replace grill will not do the same.
