I might have found the one I've been looking for. Not sure what to offer the guy. He bought it a few years ago for $4k. It's a 76 302-C4, 3" body lift, not sure which suspension lift it has, 36" tsl's 3/4 tread, buschwacker flares, very little rust, new seats still in box, two tops, and a blown engine... Looking for solid advice thanks guys....
Make him an offer... the blown engine takes the price in your favor. Those are some quality accessories though, $3200 or so? How does the glass, dash and stuff look? Look at the floor pans real good, and other hidden areas. -BBB
The truck is from CO. Glass, dash, are fine. Body is straight. Only rust I could find was the drivers side rocker. Floor pans look great. I was under the truck for a long time looked at every inch of it. Engine compartment is yellow, truck is dark green. He said it was a state vehicle. I will call later and make an offer, don't want to pay over $3000 if I don't have to. Since the engine is blown, the trans and transfer case will have to be rebuilt at the same time. That will be another $3-4K right away I'm sure.
This game is so much fun. I'm getting it for $2K. It runs but sounds like the rod is gonna come through the block. Thats just an excuse for more power. I can't wait its killing me. The Early Bronco has been my dream truck since I've been a kid...
I'll be doing some pics soon. I guess I should take some pics of my other trucks while I'm at it. I've been around FTE for awhile and still don't have a gallery yet.
