Grille Paint
I have a 77 F-150 w/ the split grille. I would like to paint it black ( the plastic patrs) and I wanted to know what prep work should be done and will a rattlecan produce a quality finish? Thanks for any input.

Stop in at your local auto paint supplier and see if they carry the SEM brand paint for plastics. If so, that is a good paint, plus they will have the prep/cleaner for it. Hardware brand spray bomb aeresols may not give you the longer life you need for your grille job. Those plastic grilles are no fun to prep and paint, lots of nooks and crannies, dont want to have to re-do them too often. jmo, good luck
