hello..
I have a 96 bronco im redoing the brakes on. I got inner hubs apart and am ready to pull the rotor and hub housing off. Do I need to take the hub housing off of the rotor to have it spun? and if I do, Do I need to take out all the bearings, races, ect.. this is my first time on this vehicle. thanx
to have the rotor turned all you need to do is get the hub/rotor off of the spindle (you need the special lockring wrench to get those nuts off, then you just pound out the studs and pry away the rotor from the spindle. its preaty simple, you shouldnt have too much of a hard time with it. good luck!
oh yeah, there are pics from when i tore down my hubs under my Superford page. hope it helps! your lockring will be different thus requiring a different socket.
