There is the pic. If you look below the bumper, you can see the oil lines and what not hanging. Guess I am just concened about them getting caught up on something in which case the bullbar should do the job.
As for my concern about the diff protection, when I had the truck serviced this week, they had to replace the bottom bolt on the front diff because it was almost completely ground off by the previous owner.
i was serious about the road sign idea.....bolt a stop sign to the bottom lip of your bumper then mount it to the bottom of your sway bar. that will prtect your lines and such
as for your bolts, i wouldn't worry about it to much unless you do harcore rockcrawlin or you keep bustin housings.....it would be worth it to me to keep replacing one bottom bolt every few thousand miles!
Gotcha, and yeah, I took your sign idea seriously and may just look into that. I do have access to sheet metal and the proper tools to work with it, so may just do that instead of removing a stop sign somewhere.
lol ok, i was just making sure, i have seen a few ppl do it and it works good! it ain't gotta be a stop sign, the reason i say that is b/c I have a buddy who works for the DOT and he can get just about any sign you can think of!
earlier someone mentioned getting something that bolts to the axle and the frontbumper? i dont think this is a good idea. i would think it would limit the axle articulation or get torn. you could go with an axle truss to protect the differential. i know i've seen a few of these in magazines. you could get one of those, and bolt a belly pan underneath the nose to protect the other stuff. just make sure you leave enough clearance for the springs so you dont bend it up
