If you want better shifting then get the shift kit like ssn randy said. I've got a Diablo chip and though it helped out performance alot it didn't do much for the shifting. The shift kit I had installed last week made a huge difference in the way my truck shifts now, especially the lag between 1st and 2nd. Now the lag is non existant.

I bought it from and had it installed by my local transmission shop, but one of the website's sponsors www.motorhaven.com sells them
