My pick-up is a 1994 F-150 4x4, 5.0, 130,000 miles, and 4R70W (AODE) transmission. I put a B&M shift kit in it about 10 months ago and it has been great until now. It just started to slip after I slow down. For instants, if I am driving at 55 and slow down to 15 it will slip once I get on the gas again. If I push and release the throttle a few times it snaps out of if. Fluid level is good. Any Ideas???

How many miles has it been since you installed it? I have the 2wd version of your truck. When my tranny started slipping I took the advice from another post and retorqued my valve body to transmission bolts. They may have come loose on you. Also, does the OD light flash at all when it slips? Hope this helps.

Thanks Bill. It has been approximately 20,000 miles and I was very careful when torqueing the valve body bolts; I realize they can still come loose. The O/D light has not come on but this morning I did have a one-foot diameter spot of transmission fluid on the floor of the garage. It has been colder up here lately, which may have something to do with the trouble but I have not got underneath it yet for the same reason.
