Read some of the post here... and the FAQ's at the top...
search for holdback, invoice, msrp, rebates, incentives... those terms will find you a lot of info...

the $950 below invoice threaad is active right now...

good luck... do your homework BEFORE going to the dealer...
send multiple dealers your wants and see what they offer...
MOST have internet departments that know to cut as close a deal as they can...

You can buy that truck through FTE for $29536, including the current $1000 rebate. That's a guaranteed price; if the rebate goes up, or there are other rebates you qualify for that are in effect at time of delivery, then your price goes down. But you have to come to my dealership (in Rochester, NY) to pick it up. We'll pay for your "room and board" while you're here. If that's not practical for you, then use our price to negotiate with your local dealers. If you need more help, just move your cursor over the word "signature" in the upper right hand corner of this post, and you'll see my contact info.

Thanks a lot Jeff, you realy helped me out. I think i found a good dealer. price he came up with is 29,836. seems like a good deal. Thats with the thousand dollar rebate. He says the rebate is only good at time of purchase so if it goes up ill save even more but if it goes down it will cost me more. i thought you were locked in to the rebate at the time you ordered your vehicle. Anyway Thanks again.

Ford only honors the rebate that's in effect at the time of delivery; whether it goes up or down from the time you ordered it makes no difference to them. With the FTE program, we're guaranteeing that the rebate will be no less at delivery than it was at time of order. If it goes down, we make up the difference; if it goes up, you get the higher rebate. So it's a win-win situation, but that's OUR policy- it has nothing to do with Ford or any of the other dealers.

Jeff,

It sounds like you are offering a great deal to FTE members. I was wondering why we'd have to pick it up and not have it dropped shipped like some other dealers do on other web sites? Thanks.

1) Trying to find a dealer that will work with us on this is difficult. Let's face it: I'm taking business away from them. But we're working on it.

2) Time constraints have made it hard to proceed on this. Between local customers, handling the FordDirect business, the sales that have already been generated by FTE, and answering questions here, there just aren't enough hours in a day. I get here at 9AM, the daily sales tornado blows through, I eat half of my lunch around 5:30PM, and before I know it, it's 10:00 or 10:30 at night. Throw in the 45-minute commute, one-way, and it doesn't leave much time to do anything else.
