Windshield washers not working

Well my windsheild washers stopped working a little while ago. Im wondering if there is a blown fuse that is keeping the pump from turning on. I dont have the original manual for the truck so do you guys know which fuse it is or what else could be causing the problem?

If this is an 87 wiper motor & washer are wired to a 6 amp circuit breaker. It's at the top/center in the fuse panel under the dash.

just look for a blown one, or check for voltage at the washer pump. If you don't show any change when you try to activate the spitters, then trace the line to the next junction point. Good luck.

Somehow I thought wipers AND washers were not working. If it's only the washer do like big blue suggested.

had a similiar with my 89 Ranger. Problem turnd out to be bad switch on steering column. Pull the plug on the washer maotr and either use an multimenter to see if you get 12 volts or just hot wire the pump. If pump works then it is your switch. I did simple fix just put a toggle switdch inside cab after you hot wire pump to battery or run off your fuse box under dash.

Check inside panel.

There might be a print out of the fuse layout on the inside of the fuse cover. You are also about due for a new washer pump. Mine went out last year. Bought a replacement at Autozone cheap. You just disconect the plug, pry out a snap washer, and put the new one in. LOL
