Well guys, I was considering ordering a new superduty this year due to the rumors that Ford was going to redesign the 2005 chassis, but no one had good info about what it would look like. Yesturday, however, we had a slow day, so the boss sent us to a class in our training center. During this class, a video was shown which contained pictures of the 2005 Superduty along with other vehicles Ford is introducing next year. These pictures closely if not exactly resembled the Tonka concept truck, like in Toby Keith's video. Think I'll hold off on ordering that new truck. Just thought I'd let y'all know.
I thought those were comming out in 2007. Oh well, my 2002 CC PSD will be paid off by the time the bugs are worked out of the new ones. Then look out!!
I just stole this picture from the excursion forum.. but notice the headlights and bumper.. look familiar?
I wonder if there are coils in there somewhere...
That isn't nearly as bad as that discusting yellow thing. But maybe the design guys ought to try and do a little something a little more original. What in the world would you do with that style of truck anyway? It's not a truck, it's not a expedition, it's just a it. Reminds me of that pathetic Avalanche chevy tried.
ack it looks like a deformed truck. what are they thinking? The explore trak looked ok because it was small but this thing looks like an unfinished truck.
How can anyone call those "tonkas" trucks???? They're all plastic! (just like the newer toy tonka trucks) Just look at the bumpers for crying out loud. And the interior... space age and "metallic" crap everywhere. Looks like a honda accord. How are you gonna work in that truck!? If only they'd stick to metal, like the tonka trucks back in the day. I think the tonka toy and truck should stick to metal. Sorry for the rant, this is just disappointing...

Wouldn't look for that particular model at your local dealer.
Good call on the lights and bumper though. I would imagine the production units will look very similar. But I believe the top part of the bumper will be body color like the new F150s and the Spy Photo above.
I myself, really dont think it looks to bad,,,like a BIGGER Bronco ! Looks alot better then the chevy plastic Avalanche (Plavalanche), It's a much shorter crewcab,,,! Lets face it, we have all seen the posts where most seem to Bitch about trying to turn around there longbed crewcabs !
I kinda like that they kept the cab lights, its a people mover not a truck, with a small open bed for whatever.
