Well guys, I was considering ordering a new superduty this year due to the rumors that Ford was going to redesign the 2005 chassis, but no one had good info about what it would look like. Yesturday, however, we had a slow day, so the boss sent us to a class in our training center. During this class, a video was shown which contained pictures of the 2005 Superduty along with other vehicles Ford is introducing next year. These pictures closely if not exactly resembled the Tonka concept truck, like in Toby Keith's video. Think I'll hold off on ordering that new truck. Just thought I'd let y'all know.

When I bought my 04 I asked several dealers about body changes for the 2005 even before they knew I wanted to buy. To the man they said no major body changes through 2006. This makes me believe the 2007 is the real deal. Also supposed to be a smaller cubic inch Powerstroke with more HP and Torque for 07.
Disclaimer- These are not facts just stuff I asked about and stuff I have heard.
When and where do they pull the cover off, and reveal the new truck.Do you think the coil springs will be on the F-450?Somewhere in their truck line up the leaf springs have to stay.

Why can't anyone leave a good thing alone. What ever happened to building a good tuff truck. If a soccer mom wants luxury then buy a caddy. Leave what works alone. Leaf springs are tuff and reliable, and you don't have to worry about going through track bars like on the Dodge. Also I'll never except that IFS is better than solid axle on a heavy duty truck.
ok.. I ythink some of you guys took my photo wrong.. That was just a concept excursion.. I meant nothing by it. What I was trying to show (I think Monsta was the only one who actually read what I wrote) was the changes to the headlights and bumper... those are the possibles for next year's model.

I do wish I had that winch slot, but with my chrome bumper

Thanks huntercgr, this is the version that I saw at work. And, it was labeled as a 2005 model. According to my dealer, apparently there is a show this weekend in Las Vegas where the 2005 Superduty will be unveiled.

It will take them to 07 to work out all the bugs with that 6.0, hate to see them swap horses when they finally teach that one how to gallop.
The part I hate the most is losing the leaf springs up front, makes it ride like a truck instead of like a dodge
That concept Excursion IS rather interesting. I guess the front looks just like the current Super Duty's. I really don't get the open back thing though. What could you put back there that you couldn't in the normal rear of an Excursion, besides maybe a small tree or a couch standing on it's end?? Just looks weird back there.
