New A/C compressors?
My compressor is knocking bad, so I was just wondering where i could get a new one. Also, is their an adapter kit to use a newer style, not piston and rods, with a v belt? thanks

Try ebay but if you can do the work yourself and it is not already converted I would change over to R134. Easy conversion and you can go to an orifice tube and get rid of that expansion valve. There should be at least one a/c parts shop up there by you. Try calling one of the home a/c services and I bet they can point you to a supplier for auto a/c parts. Plus, you don't need an EPA license to buy the R134 but you do for the R12. Down here in Texas, a can of R12 runs about $25.00 for 12oz while R134 is $4.00 a can. Hope that helps.
