New pics of my truck.......

are in my gallery. A couple of people wanted to see the J&B Microfinish dash, so it's in there. Along with the column and new steering wheel. Still need to do something "different" with the doors. (something shiny)

That is a beautiful truck. What did you use to lower the front suspension?
Thanks,

3" dropped I-beams in front

3" dropped beams in front with another inch removed from the coil. Tires are 60 series. Oh yeah, thanks for the nice words.

Very Nice Truck. What brand drop beams did you use, and where did you get that bed cover? I've been looking for one like. I'll bet that thing is a hand full when you punch it.

The roll-top bed cover is made by Pace-Edwards, part # AB-97, .....

and the beams are Dream Beams, and are square tubing, not round, with disks. And yes, Its fun when you punch it. It's even "funner" when you cross the 1/4 mile at 110 with the short wheelbase/twin I-beams. I found a '66 with a narrowed ladder bar rear, volare front clip sitting under a tarp at a guys house that I'm going to try to talk the guy out of. I'd love to transfer my truck onto that chassis, and be able to get a little better traction. THEN,........I'll head back to the track. I won't take it back to the track until I get traction and it feels a bit safer at the other end of the strip.

Talking What gauges did you use?

Headturnin',

Your new dash is out of this world! I'm saving up for that Microfinish insert. Which gauges did you use? They look terrific!

Thanks, Spudco

they are Auto Meter ultralite guages.....

It's funny, because in the microfinish catalog, and the picture on thier website, it looks like the dash piece comes ready to install. But beware, you need the standard cab bezel, and have to do a little fabbing to mount thier insert. I didn't know that when I bought it. I was was not real happy, but after the fact, I'm pleased with it.
