registration card holder

Do any of you old timers remember the registraion card holders that had a spring attached and drivers put it around the steering column. I remember my Dad (and other men) had one on his pickup when I was a kid. Is anyone reproducing them? Does anyone remember them, or where they just popular locally where I lived?

I remember them, but haven't seen them used in years. It would be a nice touch.

JC Whitney used to list them. You might give them a try...

Abe

My parents used them up till the 80's is why I remember them & I've a couple of them myself for my M-100.
If you wish one, the local parts store that has been around since dirt has a few still on the shelf.
Let me know.

Nice truck Abe . I hve a 54 ford like yours i just traded my 75 camaro for, i noticed in the pcitures of your truck that you have turn signals, was this an option or did you install a kit later ? If it was a kit do you know where i can get one for my truck it gets to be a pain trying t use hand signals and shift at the same time.
