Spacer blocks

Darned Rancho aftermarket leaf springs in the rear sagged an inch on one side (3 years after installation). I need to find another inch in the form of a spacer block atop the axle. It's a '74 F-100 4X4 with stock 3" block.

Anyone know where I can find a *4" block* that has the tongue that secures it to the u-bolt? I know there's plenty of 1" aluminum blocks out there that I can "stack" another on top of the stock one, but I prefer not to do that if I can help it.

Thanx

Michelle

I'd take them out and to the nearest spring shop to have them rearched.

Mil1ion,

I guess I don't understand why this isn't 73-79 truck related, since that's what my question is about (??)

For future reference, what would you like to see in this folder? What kind of questions?

Mark,

Thanks for your suggestion, but wouldn't the springs just eventually return to the condition they are in now?

Why not call Rancho?

Commo,
Thanks for that suggestion--It's been over 3 years and the warranty on their springs ran out! Guess I could buy another set, but at $300 seems they shouldn't have sagged in the first place.........

UPDATE: Actually (!)--I just found the receipt--it's *ROUGH COUNTRY* brand springs and they were purchased in 2000.
