oil recc.
Just purchased a 2000 F250 Powerstroke turbo diesel without an owners manual. Need to know the reccommended motor oil viscosity and service intervals.

15W40 oil with an API rating of at least CH-4/SJ. Most poeple are using Delo 400 or Rotella T which are readily available most anywhere.
Ford says to change the oil every 5000 miles for regular service and every 3000 miles for severe service.
