I'll be doing something somewhat like that later this year. I'm working on getting an engine right now though.

Most fitment guides say 4 1/2" lift (suspension and/or body lift combined) for 31x10.50-15s. You can, however, opt to get bushwacker cut-out flares and cut away your stock fender flares so that you have flares and full wheel well height all the way to the outer part of the fender. This usually gives you 3-4" of clearance, if I remember right (this is part of what I am going to be doing to my '87). I'm also swapping in a D44 and 9" out of an EB (unless that deal falls through -- long story). That, along with 2 or 3.5" EB coils and a modified rear leaf setup along with long arm radius arms will put me in good shape for at least 35s with lots of flexing room

Hey I read all the threads and I found some super swampers 29x10.5x15... do you think they'd rub/fit on a stock 86 bII 4x4?
thanks

Question

A guy I work with has a set of 4, 31-10.5-15 tires for sale. I have no problems cutting my fenders if need be. A little rubbing is fine too as my bronco is just for hunting and using the trials every now and then. It will see no pavement. I believe my rims are only 6 inches wide, will I be able to get a tire 10.5" wide on there or will I need to get another set of rims?
Thanks,
Rick

Gregorri, You should have no problems mounting those 31-10.50-15's on your stock rims. They should actually be a 6.5". I have the same size mounted on my B2 4X4's.

B II TIRES

I am running 31x10.5x15's with 2" leveling kits front & rear. Get some rubs on rear wheel wells if suspension bottoms out in rough going.

Well, On my 1988 bronco when it was stock i ran 33s. i put a 3 inch body lift in it and i put a set of 35s on it then ran fine but when i turned sharp theyed rub like hell. so then i put coil spacers and shackels and 2 inch block in the back and they didnt rub from then on out. Then i got bored after that for a couple months and got the idea of installing the 6 inch rough country lift. and ran 38s with ease. really top heavy tho wouldn't recommind it to younger users but is alot of fun haha.

i have 31" wheels on my B2, an got a problem with the rear cardan joint - it crunched, that is, when driving I can hear clicks in the area of the transfer case, and problem began when put on 31" wheels

have you any sort of table-sized wheels on certain models of cars? (bronce 2)

I have a stock 94 F150 with 31's and they don't rub at all. I am very surprised as my 92 had a 3" body life with 33's and it rubbed just turning. So I wonder how much of a lift I would have to put my 94 to get 33's on it without rubbing?
