Exhaust By-pass
Wondering if anybody knew of a place where I could get an exhaust bypass. I saw one on the "Trucks" on spike tv a few months ago, but i forget where it was from. It is just a sort of y-pipe looking thing, and on one of the y ends, it had a plate that could slide back and forth with a switch in the cab, so you could switch from your regular muffler, or open up the other side, and it could bypass your muffler so it would pretty much be straight pipes. If anyone has any info on where i could find one, please let me know. Or if you know how to make one from scratch, let me know that too. I'm sure it would not be hard, I just don't know where i would find the slider part to block off the straight pipe. Anyway, hope you can decipher out my descripton. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Summit carries 'exhaust cutouts' but I don't think you can open them up with a switch (have to remove bolts on the cover plate).
There's also a Warlock muffler made by Flow Tech. Same thing as the cutouts, remove a cover plate and exhaust dumps straight out.
Cutouts are illegal in some places. Not that anyone is likely to notice unless they're opened up...
