I'm taking the 2.5 inch mufflers off of my Mustang (Flowmaster 3 chambers) and I'm getting some piping bent for my Explorer (93 XLT 4x4, v6)
I'm wondering if you guys think it would be best for me to run a single muffler before the Y pipe or use both mufflers after the Y pipe. I'm just getting a simple crush bent 2.5 inch pipe.
I'd kinda like to use them both so I dont waste one but I dont know if that would flow too much.
So acutally, the exhaust is goina be like an X pipe kinda but with a longer 2.5 inch single pipe in the middle, it will come from the Headers Y pipe (maybe a Muffler) then another Y pipe. So I'm wondering if I should put the mufflers after the second Y pipe.
Yeah I know, it all seems like alot of work but I get piping bent really cheap so I might as well
its just a completely stock exhaust. I want to add just a some more power to it but I also want it to look nice while I'm doing it. Exhaust is goina be one of my few mods though for looks.
