Gauge color
I was checking out some parts on a web site, and noticed that they listed two color combos on gauges for '59 F100's. Silver with black marks and grey with white marks. It looked like the grey gauges started in '59 to where the others were carried over from previous years. Were the colors just option at that time or were certain trucks euipped with certain gauges?

Not sure on this. I was trying to find the answer to this a while back.
Both of my '59's, and two gauge clusters that I got from '59's in a local salvage yard all have the brass speedometer & gauges.
I've only ever seen them in brass or silver.
