Headrests - '02 Explorer

Headrests - '02 Explorer
Anyone out there know how to remove the 2nd row headrests on my '02 Explorer XLT with cloth seats? I've looked for a "magic button" or anything else but haven't been able to figure it out.

just slide out
I have an 02 Eddie Bauer and they just slide right out.
There is a small button at the top of the seat, around the hole where the left (if viewing from the rear of the vehicle) headrest post slides down into the seat...just press that in so that the bar doesn't lock into a notch, and slide it out....should some right out!
If there's no button there then it should just slide right out..might have to wiggle it around or get a bit rough with it...it might be wedged in.

There were no buttons and I got tired of trying to figure it out, so I traded it in on an '04 (not really, I just wanted a black XLT Sport with the 4.6L V8 - it even has buttons). Thanks for the info!!!
