I'd like to see an Iowa chapter...... I going to going over the road shortly to make a living........so don't vote for me in as president. besides somebody who loves the smell of raw diesel fuel can't be a good role model for the youngin's .

 

Being in Osky, your closer to my "home" turf, originally Marengo. I get there pretty regular, was just there yesterday and will be again tomorrow. Right now the bridge between Richland and Keota is closed, as is most of Keokuk county I think, so I have to go through Sigourney to get to where my daughter is living.
Being influenced by diesel fumes is a bad thing? Damn, gonna have to get checked out for this too?

Matt's just poking fun at fordlover. He's the High Plains chapter pres, but he's from MT so I imagine he can't be pres of the Iowa Chapter.

Matt, old bud, old Mt-ian... are you referring to me assisting the guys to get their own chapter or the other fordlover? I can step back and say whoa, but I think that if they want a chapter of their own, it's no reflection on the Drifters. We are too new to start with and I don't think its a bad notion for the guys to have their own group if they have enough people. With our chapter, it covers a lot of states and a LOT of ground to travel if we were to ever have a group get together. With the price of gas and all right now...heck, I can't even afford to drive down to see you guys in Billings. Not that I can afford a vacation of any kind anyway.

I think I posted my replies to their thread before elected as the Drifters President, leader, or Grand Poo Bah...whatever..so I don't think theres any conflict of interest here. I'm all for the present crew staying with the Drifters..but am also in support of their dreams also. Gotta be realistic about it.

matt i am still around, i just have been real busy driving lately, went thru billings again but was just flying thru. and admin may know me but they havent said anything one way or the other and i am not even using my proxy scrambbler anymore i have direct access agin
