Oskaloosa, Iowa here...currently. Soon I'll be residing 3 miles from the Missouri border just West/South-West of Moulton Iowa - straightshot down T19 from Eddyville basically. I'd be interested in joining the chapter, though as a poor college student long drives would be difficult. Not to mention keeping gear oil to drop in my M5OD if I had to drive like..across state.

Fordlover55 04-18-2004 04:35 PM

I'd actually vote for a Montana Chapter, myself...nothing personal against my bros in the other 49, but individual state chapters is really the way to go. Now..... all we gotta do is organize more of our own into FTE. So, get out there and tell all your friends about this site...at least the ones with computers.

i would like an iowa chapter, although i do enjoy the high plains chapter but come on is iowa really the high plains ? nope and i think there is enough of us just in SE iowa to at least have a BBQ picnic or something. Matt go ahead and do a survey thingy so we can see if it is going to happen

Matts72 04-18-2004 09:55 PM

there isn't any survey to be done, all you gotta do is mention, you have plenty of people. Just give me a name to make president of the Iowa chapter, then he will be in charge of you rascals.

Well, I don't live in iowa any more, but damn near, just 20 south of Keosauqua. I still spend plenty of time around Marengo, where my parents are, which is just west of the Amana Colonies. If noone else wants to do it, but want to have an Iowa chapter, I guess I can do it, as I generally have enough time and still have the connections, but I am mainly eastern Iowa, so those of you out west would have to help me out in regards to your area. My actual location is SE area. I spend plenty of time in Keokuk.Doesn't get any more south east than that.

Saurian 04-30-2004 10:52 PM

I'm all for Iowa chapter!

I'm living by myself in Oskaloosa currently untill school ends, then I'll be residing a few miles further south of Moulton Iowa.

A president at Keokuk? You're right..that *is* as far south and east you can get.

Btw..you ever go to the football games? You guys always seem to get roudy with us..dunno why lol .
