Thanks to some earlier posts from some helpful folks, I was able to install new speakers in the front doors of my Super Crew. Emboldened by my success, I turned to the rear doors and speakers.
But the rear door panel over the speakers is much harder to remove than the front. I cannot get my knife, screw driver or other prying tool into the seam to pry open the panel.
Is there a trick to it? Am I just being too timid? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Buddy

The plastic panels on the back doors do not come off like the ones on the front doors. You have to remove the entire door panels by removing the bolts on the bottom (2) and behind the inner door pull (2). There are also a few clips to release the panel by pulling out and up. Just feel around. You'll find them. It's not too bad.

2 more screws are in the back on the crews. There is a 10mm head screw behind the pad that has the window switch. The pad just pops up from the front and out.
There is another small screw behind the vertical trim. The trim pulls straight out.
Just replaced the stock speakers and yes they are junk with some kenwood kfc-688c.Boy did that bring that audiophile to life.
