Replacing hubs on 2000 Excursion

NAPA tried to sell me a conversion kit with the Warn Hubs? Do I need it and
do I need to block off or disconnect the vacuam lines?

You don't need a conversion kit. The conversion kit is for vehicles that had a "full-time" transfer case. As long as your front axle is the same D60 as on the SD's, they are 100% the same.

I happened to score a couple of hubs that worked. I tried the Warn hubs when one of mine failed. They worked too but the problem is that you end up having to step out of the cab to switch them. The ESOF will enage the transfer case but if you are stuck in snow, you feel like going out and engaging both sides? I didn't so I went back to the Ford hubs.
