I appreciate the welcome, guys. My 1 ton isn't a Powerstroke. It's a 7.3 turbo-diesel. Had to rebuild the engine a couple of years ago because the compression ring on the # 8 piston broke. It's running strong now. I would like to meet some folks around here that are building F-1s.

My friend in California restored a 49 3/4 ton Ford. And I have a friend in Joplin who is hot rodding a 50 Ford. At least I think it is a 50, it was few years ago he told me about it.

Stop in the '99-'03 7.3 PSD threads and chat. Some call our engines the '444E International' model. We may be able to help you 'Mod' up your truck.

I'm in Bolivar, MO. Have an 01 White F-150 Lariat 4x4 Screw. Many mods to come as the $ comes (slowly).
