I never thought I'd say this since I've been out of grade school, but, I've got pink eye!! Woke up this morning thinking I went blind in my left eye because it was glued shut with eye goop. For the last week I've been down with a cold & sore throat, and now pink eye. Doc says my throat is infected, my left ear is infected, and my left eye as well. I'm getting it in my right eye too, my vision in that eye is blurry from pus & gunk oozing out of it. Makes me wonder which ODB in town gave me this infection!

I've had Pink Eye before.. it's pretty nasty. I hated putting the eye drops in the most!! It came back twice before it went away for good.

Yeah it is really contagious. We had a bout last year where everyone in the family caught it and it even made the rounds a second time after each of us was "cured".

Isn't pink rosado in spanish? I remeber getting pink eye when I lived at home. When I woke up and couldn't open my eyes, the first thought that went through my brain was that my brother had glued my eyes shut.

As soon as I got out of the doc's office, my g/f pinched my arm and said, "OK, so what strange were you with behind my back to get you this sick?"
I wasn't shocked at the question, I was shocked that she knew what 'strange' was!!
ON EDIT: Yeah, rosado is pink in Spanish, just couldn't think of the dang word! Red eye fits better anways, I only wish they were pink!
