3208 cat factory option?
It has been rumored many times that I've heard that ford offered a 3208 cat for about six months in 79' until they found out it was cracking the frame. Hope not to many people think I'm crazy, I have seen two of them. Any info or documentation would be greatly appreaciated.

I have heard it to be an option from many different people that don't know each other (not hearing it grom each other), they say it was just an experiment that let the factory. Yes.......it would be interesting to know and to figure out what tranny and case combo they used.
