PS, dually, 4x4 with manual transmission? We were thinking about getting a newer truck (we have 95 PS). A friend said that Ford did not make a 99 with the above features. All of the above would have to be in the 2000 models. Any one no if this is correct?
Your friend probably meant that they did not make a 1998, which is correct. The only F250/F350 available in 1998 has a light duty model that is currently the F150 7700 GVWR package.
There were 2 versions of the F250 in 97. The HD (Older body style ) and the LD (Looked like the F150's) The 97 F350's were still the older style. Then in 99 they came out with the SD's.

He wanted to know if they made a 95-97 F350 PS, dually 4x4. Sorry about the date mix-up. I found this website and now hubby wants me to ask all the questions. He is computer illiterate and will not touch the things. Be patient with me boys!
thanks,
Judy

Yes they did make them. The PSD was first available in 1994.5 and Ford has offered dually trucks for as long as I can remember.
thats good to know because rather than buying new we would like to buy used. A guy we went camping with insisted that you could not buy a 350 PS, dually, 4x4 between the years 95-97. We have a 95 350 PS dually automatic which is not a 4x4.
We love this truck but we need more stopping power coming out of mountain roads. We carry a very heavy load of 3-4 horses, camper. The trailer brakes are getting smoked!
thank you again,
Judy
