At least you've got pain meds, I was told to deal with it...which I did. Here's to hoping you get better soon.

Yea, I had shingles in High school. I became so wore down...I had shingles in the right half of my scalp. Along with the Shingles, I had Mono, Tonsilitis, Rocky mountain Spotted Fever. After many many doctors, I found a Dermatologist that connected the shingles and the spotted fever....then deducted the rest of the way in blood tests from my new found hospital room. But hey..I got a month off school.
