I traded a 02 Sport Trac in for our used 00 X. We had a 3rd kid on the way and the wife loved the size. I love the V10.

'99 Suburban 1500 4WD 5.7 bought it new. Put 97K nearly trouble-free miles (1 fuel pump at 90K) and sold it to buy to '04 PSD X.

Prior to that I had a '95 F-150 Short Bed Super Cab.

Loved them both and so far, the X is everything that I hoped it would be (at 1300 miles!)

2002 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner crew cab. Really great little pickup. Very solid and got good mileage. Three car seats do NOT fit in the back seat of a Tacoma crew cab.

Before our 04 X we had a 02 EB Expedition and before that we had a 93 e-350 extended van. We soon founded out that the Expendition did not even came close on having enough room. We love our X.

"What did you drive ..." Hmmmm ... I'd have to say that usually, if I didn't drive 'em away, I drove everyone mad.

About 20 different vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles), but the last one ... the one which was replaced by the Mighty-X ... was an '87 F350 crew-cab SRW ... military surplus (which meant no catalytic converter).

I too have owned a variety of cars/trucks.. Some I loved the most were

      1979 full size bronco
      1981 Firebird

I am now selling my 1991 Chevy G20 Conversion van with 168K miles.. My 2002 "X" replaces this as the family vehicle and my daily driver.

My #1 favorite vehicle of all time is also for sale :
95% original, mostly stock 1971 covette coupe

<tears are forming.. better post while I can still see the screen>

My dad had a '94 Bronco 351W before he bought the X. The X tows his 9000-lb Bayliner with no problem, while the Bronco had trouble towing a 6200-lb trailer to the tractor pulls. I chalk that up to the really short wheelbase on the Bronco.

My '04 X Eddie Bauer 6.0PSD is the "family" vehicle and my wife's daily driver; I love the _few_ chances that I get to drive it.

      The X replaced:
      1994 E150 Club Wagon 302 cu in
1992 Explorer XLT V-6; woefully underpowered
1998 Toyota Camry LE I-4; even worse...

My daily driver is a '99 F150 XLT supercab 5.4L, which replaced:
1994 F150 XLT 302 cu in; "My First Truck..."
1988 Mustang LX notchback 5.0L; rocket sled...
      1981 Isuzu I-Mark [big] I-4
1973 Dodge Crestwood station wagon 283 cu in; the Charger in a wagon

kids begin driving soon, so they can beat up the F150 - I will be adding an F250 6.0PSD at that time.

      Ben
