Down in 73-9 we have constant trouble reports from users with rusted out fuel systems from alcohol fuel. Pure gas won't freeze. If you have problems with gas line freeze up it is probably residual water from the alcohol or just a "warning" that you need to switch fuel suppliers. I live a few miles south of you and have zero problems with fuel line freeze with 100% gas. They sell a lot of Heet around here to some people. Somewhere along the line they started coating the inside of all of the tanks and lines with plastic. Generic replacement lines are not coated.

Congress should have set the limit for alcohol at 5% but they bowed to political pressure like they always do. Alcohol producers and Congress lined their pockets at the expense of the general public as usual.

Thanks for looking, EPNCSU2006...I think Bob Ayers is right...looks like the closest is Aiken, SC...I have the flex-fuel ranger and it seems like by running some ethanol every once in a while would be good for it...I bought a gallon of 190 proof Everclear and burnt it with a tank of gas one time...at $35 a gallon or whatever, I can't afford to do that often...can't even buy 190 proof here in Florida...had to wait til I got back to NC...
