1996 PSD Rough Idle
I love my PSD. My problem just started happening. It is blowing lots of smoke and I am getting a rough idle. I have driven the truck every day for two years and this just started. Glow plugs and relay 1 year old, new starter. alternator, and batteries 6 months ago oil changes every 3000 - 4000 miles. Any ideas? Also I'm looking for other PSD specific related sites.

Like powerstroker said, it's probably the injector o-rings. Is the engine eating an abnormal amount of oil? Check this thread out, it may help...

When was the last time you changed all those filters? I got a pretty crappy batch of fuel about 3 weeks ago, and mine ran horribly until I burned it out, so that may very well be the case. Burn that tank out and see what happens.
