I live in the Rochester area and have been looking at the new F-150's for a couple weeks now, debating on trading in my 2001 Dodge Ram. I think I'm ready to make a move. I'm new to this site, and have just scratched the surface of everything here. I've been noticing the deals you guys are offering at Van Bortel. I am VERY interested in sitting down and seeing what we can come up with. I have all my options in line and have heard orders need to be placed soon because they will be shutting down the 2004 lines to gear up for the '05's, so sooner than later would be best. What hours can I give you a call? Or, maybe we can set up an appointment for me to come out.
Thanks
EDIT: Whoops !
I just read about the "FTE Purchase Program" and the $200 below invoice, but then read the thread "$950 below invoice continues" and was wondering which is it for the F-150's?
I think it's still $700 below invoice for F-150's at Van Bortel. 1956MarkII can set you straight when he has a chance to reply. I bought mine from him (I'm in Cincinnati)...yes, I drove
$700 would be real nice. I must say, if Van Bortel is HALF as good as you all are saying, I'm looking forward to my new truck. I'm on my second Dodge, and the dealership was absolutely fantastic (200 miles from home). I personally ordered 2 trucks, over the phone and my family has bought a total of 9 vehicles from the same place/salesman. So, as you can probably imagine, it took a lot for me to jump ship and come over to Ford based solely on the dealership (the new ugly Dodge trucks helped), and I was kind of nervous about dealing again. All the comments are easing my mind a bit.
Talk to Jeff Clark there...he's very easy to work with and won't pressure you one bit. It's just like calling a friend to ask a question...no big deal.
Sorry it took so long to reply- been a little under the weather this week. You can order an FX4 from us for $700 below invoice until April 30th. We actually have until July 2nd to order an '04 F-150, but the order has to be placed with Van Bortel by the end of April for the pricing. We'll also guarantee the $1000/ $1500 rebate on SuperCrew/ Regular and Extended-Cabs, respectively. As for my hours, I work the "B" shift; if we're open, I "be" here! Just move your mouse's cursor over the word "signature" in the upper right-hand corner, and you'll see our phone number. I'm here tonight (Thursday) till at least 9, Friday till 6 and Saturday till 5. Give me a call anytime!
Thanks for the reply. I actually was out there yesterday and talked with Mike Hryhorenko. He showed me a couple trucks you have on the lot and set me up with an invoice and vehicle price with my options. I didn't have time to meet with your used car appraiser, but Mike told me you base trade-in prices the Actual Cash Value of the vehicle. He told me a website where I can find that, but I don't remember it. If you can tell me where I can find it, that'd be great. I just like doing my homework before hand so I'm not in shock or waste anyones time. Again, thanks for the reply and maybe I'll see you out there next week.
