Trouble with new engine
I just put a engine in my truck (4.9L) I rebuilt it myself, when I first started it up it ran great, so I went ahead and finished putting everything else together and set the timing. But now when it get warm, at idle it runs smooth for a minute or so and then it sounds like it misses and shakes for a split second and then idles smooth again, it does this all the time while idling, but under excelleration it runs strong with no miss. I was just wandering what you guys might think it could be, the check engine light doesnt come on or anything, could it still have some trouble codes in the computer?
