shampoo

Do you have a special "favorite" brand of shampoo you like to use, or just whatever is around the house?

I'm also having problems with choosing the right shampoo. I have long hair. It's about shoulder length but I'm growing it much longer. I've been using Biolage and it makes my hair so tangled that I can't run a comb through it. I then went to walmart and bought some tresseme and it seems to weigh my hair down.

Aussie brand is really good.. I use the "Real Volume" shampoo and the "Mega Instant" conditioner.. it's patented and proven not to weight down hair.. I love it. It runs about $3.50/ bottle at WalMart and around $5/bottle at other stores.

I like Dove and it doesn't weigh the hair down. It is very foamy though so a little goes a long way.

I dunno- I don't really have a favorite, but my girlfriend is a hairdresser, and she has me on this special anti-baldness stuff. Doesn't seem to be working, though.

I have always and forever used the cheapest shampoo I could buy. My hair was always the envy of many a young lady. No split ends...like I really cared..... easy to control. I didn't wash my hair every single day. I always thought it was good to let the natural oils in the hair do their thing. As an apparent result, I still have a full head of hair, whereas my dad was bald by the time he was in his 40s and my brother even younger. And then again...maybe I'm just lucky.

Suave; the last time I bought it I paid about $1 per bottle.

Pert! But I have been known to use whatever bottle is in the Fiance's shower-bin thingy... sometimes I end up smellin' pretty flowery...

Aveda all the way. A little pricey, but well worth it.
I have always had very problematic hair and scalp. My hair is usually very long, past my waist. Very thick and coarse, which causes lots of tangles, dryness and split ends. I have a very sensitive scalp, so everything gives me dandruff.
This Aveda shampoo has worked wonders for my hair. Doesn't weigh it down, shiney, strong, no dandruff (even when I can only wash my hair once a week), and no tangles when I use the conditioner.
I've been usuing this for 4 years now, and I wish I had found this line of haircare products sooner.

Head & Shoulders for about the last 15 years.
My hair is about 3" long now but I am going to get it cut today if the mood to go outside in the rain strikes me.
