Ford has come up with some additional dealer incentives, making it possible to re-instate the pricing we were offering on the FTE Purchase Program in March. In a nutshell, you can buy any of these vehicles (from stock or order) at the following price levels:
You will still receive any and all rebates (base, FMCC, X-Plan, AQHA, etc...) in addition to the below-invoice pricing. Orders must be placed by April 30th.
Okay, I probably forgot something, so let the questions begin!
Hi Jeff, Can you enlighten us on the details of the dealer incentive(s)? I already ordered my F150 SCREW Lariat and even though he guaranteeing all rebates maybe there is more I can get him to offer up?
1)With the XPLAN what additional discounts are there? I thought the XPLAN was APLAN plus 4% plus 150?
2)What does it mean with the XPLAN when it says:The dealership may NOT charge separately for document preparation or other administrative services incidental to the delivery of the vehicle. ???

It USED to be. X-Plan is now A-Plan plus 4%, plus $150. You can use your X-Plan with the FTE discount, so it would be X-Plan less $950. If you take delivery by April 30th, there's an additional $250 cash rebate for X-Plan buyers. If you've read ANY of my posts for the past month about this, you'll realize that a lot of dealers will try to pocket this rebate; if you're X-Plan, if you take delivery by April 30th, you get an extra $250. Period. No conditions (like having to finance with Ford Credit, etc...).

The dealer cannot charge you a "paperwork" fee for processing the sale, nor can they charge you for dealer prep, wash and wax, filling the tank, etc... All they can charge is X-Plan, sales tax, and the ACTUAL DMV fees to plate it. Nothing more.

There's a little something called the "F-Series Fast Cash Program." The dealer can use certificates from Ford to sweeten the deal. But there's a problem: the certificates are worth $250 each, but each dealer gets a limited number of certificates, and the number we get varies from dealer to dealer. There's no way to know how many they were alloted, how many they've already used, and how many they can give you.
"Ford has come up with some additional dealer incentives...." Are these nation wide?
If so, it seems my dealer should at least sell Expedition on order at invoice less FDAF if you can sell for invoice less $950

What YOUR dealer sells you a vehicle for is between you and the dealer. If you've already made a deal, if numbers were agreed upon, then good luck in re-negotiating the deal. The extra incentives were getting are DEALER incentives, so we can do with them as we please. It's just my dealership's policy to pass them along to the consumer. CONSUMER incentives are yours, and I DO have a problem with a dealer that tries to hide them from you.
Jeff, can I use this 950 below invoice if I have already worked out a price with my dealer? My o4 SD is due to arrive on the 26 Apr.
The $950 below invoice offer is from my dealership, Van Bortel Ford. It has nothing to do with Ford Motor Co. If you want to try to use it as leverage to get your price down, by all means, go ahead. If you've already negotiated and agreed upon a price with your dealer, then get ready for a "battle royal." Most don't look kindly upon this practice. Look at it this way: what if the dealer found out he could sell YOUR truck for more, and asked you if you wouldn't mind re-negotiating the price UP a little bit? Fair is fair.....
Thanks Jeff... I think you said it earlier, dearlers need to make some money too. My salesman told me they were not making any money on this deal - so if they can make some thats OK with me. Based on some postings seen here I think I got a good deal. 04 SD 6.0 King Ranch SRW/LWB $9400 below MSRP.

I would like to buy a 2004 or 2005 E-350 (when they become available) this year. What prices do you have on vans?
