Cam lift, engine year.
Hell my fellow big block brothers, first question how much lift will the stock valve train handle on the 460?, and what year should I look for, for a mild street engine?
And if an engine is found with a good bottom end, what will a street cam,dual plain intake,650 carb and headers get me for HP,TQ any help is apreaciated and est on the power is welcome.

From what I've heard the max lift on stock valvetrain in around .530". As for power, that will depend on what compression ratio you end up with and what cam you run. I'd say an 8.5:1 motor will get up to the mid 300's and if you up the compression with flat top pistons and maybe some early heads you could hit 500 pretty easily.
