I need information on what years and models of cabs will fit onto my 1971 F350 dual wheel. It has a four speed.
The truck has 61,000 original miles and is in great mechanical shape. However the cab is a dissaster - rust and the fact that the original owner let someone stand on the roof and cave in the top. I was able to push out the roof and use the truck that way for a number of years. A real fix would mean cuttiing off the top and grafting on a new section. since there is much rust every where I believe that the best bet for a long term solution for a very nice truck would be a replacement cab.
Will the 73 and up cabs bolt on to the frame? What are mhy choices for a bolt on replacement?
They might fit up to 79 but only a 67-72 will look right. The 67 might have a few differences in them not sure though. Any 67-72 will work and look right

The body style changed in '73, so if you have a standard bed on it, the newer cab lines will not line up, along with the fenders. Pre '72 has chrome strip/protrusion, while the '73-up have a recession in sides.
