Groaning Noise
I test drove an '00 F250 PSD 6spd single cab long bed today. What I thought:
I liked -
1. Engine power, smoothness and quietness.
2. Stout feeling, close ratio'd 6spd.
3. Turning radius better than my Tacoma (for sale)!!!!
4. Good looks
Didnt like -
1. Spartan interior (but it was a base XL model...)
Overall, I loved the truck. I want an Xtra or Club Cab, but the driving experience was great. Is it really ok to spend $20,000 on a vehicle with over 100k mi? I tell myself the diesel is good for it, but it is a strange concept.
So, what is the faugely familiar groaning/rattling noise when the clutch is engaged under load from a stop? I have heard it before on these trucks.
